Nature: Vehicle Accident
Location:  30856 Magenta Road, Millsboro

On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Magenta Lane.  It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.   Additional ancillary alerts included the local emergency medical services fprovider and the Sussex County Paramedics.  Emergency response unit assignments included vehicle stabilization, if needed, debris and fluid recovery, as well as traffic control.

It apears that a brown Buick Terraza mini-van entered the roadway in the path of a black 4-door sedan that was traveling on John J. Williams Highway.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated the traffic control assignment.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
