Saturday March, 19 2011 @ 09:04:10 Nature: Outside Fire Location: Mariners Cove (across from) Address: 26399 Cove Dr Millsboro, DE 19966 Early Saturday morning of March 19th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak amended to an outside fire in the vicinity of Mariner’s Cove. It was reported to be in the area of Cove Drive. Emergency response units arrived and determined an area of marsh land immediately adjacent to Mariner's Cove on Long Neck Road. Engine #80-3 initiated two 1¾” fire suppression lines as did the two brush trucks which utilized two booster lines. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control on Long Neck for the duration of the incident.
