Saturday February, 5 2011 @ 11:17:49 Nature: Odor Investigation Location: BAYWOOD GREENS CLUB HSE Address: 32267 Club House Way On Saturday afternoon, February 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an odor investigation at the Baywood Greens Club House. Ladder 80, Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 responded from the Oak Orchard facility while Engine #80-3 responded from the Long Neck facility. Ladder 80 was assigned to access the facility from the north end of the complex to gain access to roof top areas and permit access for a master stream operation from the rear of the apparatus via the engines approaching via the driveway turnabouts. Engine #80-1 was requested to prepare for hose lays and pump operations for the ladder. Fortunately, the source of the smoke was the result of towels placed on warming devices causing an undesirable situation. The incident was quickly placed under control with ventilation of the facility.
