Sunday January, 23 2011 @ 13:03:00 Nature: Alarm Company Location: Renaissance Nursing and Rehab Address: 26002 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Sunday afternoon, January 23rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co., Inc., was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident at the Renaissance Nursing & Rehab Center off of John J. Williams Highway. Engine #80-3 responded from the Long Neck facility and Ladder 80 responded from the Oak Orchard facility. Units arrived and found a water flow situation in the water sprinkler control room with an actively visible broken sprinkler in the exterior of the building near the overhead canopy. Units remained on-scene to investigate the water flow conditions and await response from the alarm company. After the water was shut off to the sprinkler system, the building was turned over to the alarm maintenance company for corrective action.
