Nature: Structure Fire
Location: 28325 Wynikako Ave, Millsboro, DE 19966
On Monday, October 8th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a residential structure fire on Wynikako Avenue in Riverdale Park off of River Road. It was reported to be an odor of smoke inside the structure near the rear of the residential structure.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.
Emergency response crew assignments included incident mitigation efforts utilizing thermal imaging camera attempting to identify the source of the concern.
After evaluation, the incident was marked unfounded and all responding units were authorized to return.
