Thursday January, 13 2011 @ 21:41:08 Nature: Electrical Fire Address: 35471 Pine Dr Millsboro, DE 19966 On Thursday evening, January 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical fire within a manufactured home on Pine Drive in the Mariner’s Cove development off of Long Neck Road. Duty Officer Brian Morley coordinated the incident response activities with Engine #80-3 being requested to investigate the residential structure, Engine #80-1 was assigned to assist Engine #80-3 and if needed, provide a water supply detail, Engine #80-5 was staged at a nearby hydrant and Rescue 80 responded to the scene. After an internal and exterior evaluation, it was determined to a malfunction hot water heater as the source of the odor. The homeowner was so notified.
