Monday January, 3 2011 @ 19:06:54 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntALS Address: Phillips Branch Rd & Holly Lake Road on sharp bend On Monday evening, January 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Phillips Branch Road near the intersection of Holly Lake Road. It was reported to be a single vehicle into a tree. Upon arrival of Duty Officer Ryan Mock, it was identified that a white Ford Mustang departed from the roadway surface for an unknown reason and entered an active construction zone. The vehicle was able to stop prior to striking anything substantial that would cause significant damage to the vehicle. Phillips Branch Road was closed for the duration of the incident.
