Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Long Neck Rd and Goose Pond Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday morning, August 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road at or near Goose Pond (entrance to Rehoboth Shores) Road. It was reported to be a single vehicle versus utility pole.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, vehicle stabilization where needed, assistance with patient stabilization, if needed, and overall scene mitigation.

It appears that a Ford F150 pick-up was traveling on Long Neck Road and left the roadway for an unknown reason striking a utility pole.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
