Wednesday December, 1 2010 Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to acknowledge the 3rd Place Winner of the 2010 Sussex County Fire Prevention Special Category Essay Writer – Jessica Smack. Jessica is a student at the Long Neck Elementary School and had the privilege to attend the 2010 Fire Prevention Awards Program sponsored by the Sussex County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association, the Sussex County Ladies Auxiliary Association and the Sussex County Fire Chief’s Association. Jessica was presented a 3rd place plaque for her award winning essay which was presented by Sally Stevenson of the Sussex County Ladies Auxiliary Fire Prevention Committee. Jessica was desirous to identify her award winning essay and plaque to the general membership of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company at its December 2010 Monthly Meeting.
