Nature: Wires Down/Arching

Location: Indian River Marina Pier

On Monday morning, July 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for wires down at the Indian River Marina off of River Road in Oak Orchard.  It was reported to be a mast of sailing vessel had fallen into the overhead electrical supply wiring to the pier.

Emergency response unit from Indian River included Tanker 80 and 80 Command.

Emergency response crews identified the situation, reported the utility pole numerical information to the utility provider, requested a utility provider response, and secured or prohibited access to the pier.

All units were cleared and authorized to return to their respective quarters.
