Saturday, October, 30 2010 Nature: Stand-by Coverage Assignments Mill Creek Fire Company provided stand-by coverage for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company during the Saturday, October 30, 2010 funeral services for James T. “Tee” Norwood. On Friday afternoon at approximately 5 p.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company enacted cover up assignments in order to permit for the funeral viewing services, funeral preparation and detail activities, and other preparation items with the respect to the demise of Tee Norwood. One company provided the cover up assignment for the period of 10 a.m. thru 8 p.m. on October 30, 2010. This company was: Mill Creek Fire Company from Marshallton, Delaware. This crew did not respond to any incidents during the cover up assignment. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to acknowledge the assistance and cooperation of our surrounding communities as well as the aforementioned companies during these trying times.
