Tuesday October, 26 2010 @ 15:43:12 Nature: Traffic / Transportation Acdnt BLS Address: Intersection of Cannon Rd & Indian Mission Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday evening, October 26, 2010, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle collision on Indian Mission Road at the intersection of Cannon Road. It appears that the 4-door gray compact car was entering the intersection from Cannon Road and collided with a 4-door Jeep Cherokee traveling south on Indian Mission Road. The impact of the collision caused significant damage to both vehicle’s front end and leaked engine fluids onto the road surfaces. The cause of the incident is pending investigation by the Delaware State Police. Emergency response crews were assigned to mitigate the fluid leakage concerns. The Delaware Fire Police were assigned to coordinate traffic control measures during the investigation phase of the incident.
