Wednesday October, 6 2010 @ 12:13:44 Nature: Traffic / Transportation Acdnt BLS Address: 25601 - 26057 John J Williams Millsboro, DE 19966 On Wednesday afternoon, October 6th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway near the entrance to the Giant Food Store Shopping Center. The incident report indicated that a single vehicle was traveling west on John J. Williams Highway and struck a utility pole. Emergency response unit identified that a Cadillac 4-door sedan was traveling west on John J. Williams Highway approaching the intersection to access Giant Food and struck a utility pole for an unknown reason. Crews were assigned to coordinate patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization, traffic pattern coordination and scene preservation pending the arrival of the Delaware State Police. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
