Friday August, 20 2010 @ 22:46:29 Nature: Traffic/TransportationAcdntALS Location: Pot Nets Bayside Address: 34646 Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday evening August 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, the Sussex County Paramedics and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit were alerted for a personal injury vehicle incident in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road. It was reported by the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), that a single golf cart was involved in an accident where the golf cart rolled over ejecting one of the occupants. The emergency response crews found a single golf cart overturned in the middle of the golf cart alley with one female occupant being ejected and lying in the roadway surface. The other emergency responders were requested to provide patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization, traffic control measures, scene preservation pending arrival of the Delaware State Police, and prepare for an aviation landing zoning at the baseball field in Pot Nets Bayside. The Delaware State Police Aviation flew the ejected occupant to Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) for emergency evaluation procedures resulting from incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating. The Delaware State Fire Police and Pot Nets Security provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident.
