Williams Highway & Gull Point Road Address: 27427 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 Late Thursday evening on July 8th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle incident involving a roll-over. It appears that a silver 4-door sedan was traveling west on John J. Williams Highway and partially rounded the sharp curve near Gull Point Road. The vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason and overturned, coming to rest on its roof in a residential front yard. One occupant of the vehicle attempted to depart from the scene and was quickly located. The emergency responders were assigned to stabilize the vehicles, assist with patient care, if needed and assist with the brief search for the departed occupant of the vehicle. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident. Duty Officer Ryan Mock released all apparatus after clearly all debris and re-stocking equipment back on the apparatus. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance during the incident.
