Address: 37140-37157 Rehoboth Ave Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company with a working structure fire on Rehoboth Avenue. While providing stand-by coverage, Engine #80-1 was assigned to Station #3 on John J. Williams (Route #24) Highway and Engine #80-3 was assigned Station #1 on Rehoboth Avenue. The Rehoboth Beach and Lewes fire departments battled a fire in the structure for approximately two hours. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
