Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

Location: Boat Ramp - Pinenbrine Rd and Hillenwood Rd., Pot Nets Bayside, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday, June 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident in the Pot Nets Bayside development off of Long Neck Road.  Additional alerts also included LifeNet Aviation, the Sussex County Paramedics, the Millsboro Fire Company EMS, the Delaware State Police, the Delaware State Fire Police and others.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Command 80, Tanker 80 and Rescue 80 as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

It was reported to be an accident involving a golf where the occupant(s) were ejected and run-over by the cart.  The first arriving units (Command and Rescue) found two (2) vehicle occupants laying on the ground and initiated pre-hospital emergency pending arrival of the higher EMS authorty.  The incident was primarily a medical related issue and Tanker 80 was redirected to a serious motor vehicle accident in nearby Millsboro’s Fire District.

Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Address: Hollyville Rd and Four Of U Harbeson, DE 19951

Tanker 80 responded to assist Millsboro for this incident.

It appears that a black four door sedan was driving on Hollyville Road and lost control.

The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper 2 did fly the occupant to Christiana Hospital.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
