Wednesday November, 4 2009 Nature: Medical Assist – Landing Zone Address: John J Williams Hwy – Indian Summer Village, Millsboro, DE 19966 On Wednesday, November 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a landing zone assist assignment on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Indian Summer Village. The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit was required with a medical assist assignment. The DSP helicopter landed and the patient was loaded and transferred to the appropriate medical facility.
