Williams Highway. The restaurant was in the midst of its breakfast serving hours and encountered the fire alarm sounding. After numerous attempts to silence and reset the automatic fire alarm the fire company was alerted by the alarming monitoring service. First Assistant Chief Eric Ruckle was immediately on scene to request the evacuation of the restaurant and to evaluate the interior structure. It was identified that the heating services may have been activated and access to the roof was not immediately available. Engine #80-1 was assigned to access the front section of the facility while Engine #80-3 was assigned to access the rear section of the facility. Ground ladders were utilized to access the roof section of the facility and the heating units were evaluated. The entire structure was evaluated with the thermal imaging camera. The incident was reported under control and the restaurant resumed normal operations.
