Tuesday July, 14 2009 Nature: Structure Fire Location: New Road - Lewes, DE 19958 On Tuesday, July 14th, Indian River, as well as many other volunteer fire companies in Sussex County were alerted to assist Lewes Fire Department with a reported working structure fire in Nassau - Lewes, Delaware. Indian River was requested to provide standby coverage at Station #1 on Savannah Road and a tanker assist at the scene of the incident.
