Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 32755 Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Monday, May 7, 2018, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road in the vicinity of Leisure Point on Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and local emergency medical service providers.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control, assistance with patient stabilization if needed, fluid and debris recovery.

It appears that two vehicles were traveling on Long Neck Road and collided for unknown reasons with both vehicle sustaining front end damage.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
