The members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company commenced with its December 2008 Regular Monthly Meeting and elected a new slate of officers for the 2009 Calendar Year. The administrative officers-elect are: President Patrick C. Miller; Vice President Ronald P. Ferraro; Secretary Shelia Ferraro; Assistant Secretary David G. Blumenthal; Treasurer Raymond P. Collas; and Assistant Treasurer Katherine Thompson. The fire line officers-elect are: Chief Steven C. Deery; Deputy Chief Brian P. Hubbs; First Assistant Chief Eric G. Ruckle; Second Assistant Chief Hayden Klinger; Chief Engineer James R. Wagner; and Fire Recorder John W. Swithenbank, III These newly elected officers will be sworn in at the January 2009 Regular Monthly Meeting.
