Monday, November 10, 2008 @ 13:00:49 Nature: Traffic/Transportation Accident BLS Address: Mount Joy Rd & Cannon Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday, November 10th the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle accident. It appears that a Ford Five Hundred sedan had just turned off of Mount Joy Road (County Road #297) onto Cannon Road (County Road #306) traveling east. The vehicle departed the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. All responding apparatus were directed to initiate patient stabilization, vehicle stabilization and other measures to secure the scene. The Delaware State Fire Police were requested to close Cannon Road for the duration of the emergency incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
