On Monday, February 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident behind WSFS Bank on the access roadway.  It was reported to be a two vehicle motor vehicle incident inthe area behind WSFS Bank and McDonald’s.

Emergency response apparatus included Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 and Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  The local emergency medical service responder and the Sussex County Paramedics also responded.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, preparation for extrication, patient stabilization where needed, traffic control, and a door pop maneuver.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
