Thursday July, 17 2008 @ 19:58:57 Nature: Traffic/Transportation Acdnt BLS Address: John J Williams Hwy & Long Neck Millsboro, DE 19966 On Thursday evening, July 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle collision on Indian Mission Road at the entrance to Food Lion. Our assigned duty officer, Brian P. Hubbs, Second Assistant Chief identified that two vehicles collided at or near the entrance to Food Lion with both vehicles suffering front end damage and leaking fluids onto the roadway surface. The responding apparatus were assigned to coordinate assistant with patient care and vehicle stabilization pending the arrival of the Delaware State Police. A patient was transferred to nearby medical facilities by the local emergency service provider. Indian Mission Road was closed to northbound traffic for the duration of the incident.
