As Thursday, January 4th approached, so did the periods of inclement weather include significant cold or frigid temperatures and significant snowfall.  The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a cadre of members to provide stand-by crews at the various stations in case of an emergency alert. 

The alert tally was four (4) alerts:  automatic fire alarm – Gull Point; gas leak, and EMS assist, and a CO detector activation.
