Story
On Wednesday, December 26, 2007, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury motor vehicle collision on Long Neck Road near the vicinity of Massey’s Landing. The vehicle was traveling on Long Neck Road and apparently lost control from an undetermined reason. The vehicle departed the roadway, spinning around and collided with a utility pole near the rear driver’s side of the vehicle. The impact of this collision catapulted the vehicle back across the roadway and the vehicle then collided head-on with a tree. This vehicle sustained substantial damage as a result of the incident. The 17-year-old occupant required medical attention at nearby medical facilities in Lewes, Delaware and the Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
