On Friday, December 7, 2007, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle collision on Banks Road near Shawn’s Hide-a-way. It appears that a single vehicle was traveling on Banks Road and lost control on the wet roadway which was associated with inclement weather conditions. There were no substantial injuries associated with this incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
