On Wednesday, June 27, 2007, members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated in a monthly training exercise. This month, members received instruction in forcible entry, searches, ground ladders, and ladder company operation. Instructors from various fire departments were gracious enough to donate their time to provide this needed instruction to IRVFC members. For some members, it served as an excellent refresher. As for others, it proved to be a great class to begin their fire service careers.
