Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

Location: MVC Rollover @ 130 William Dr., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, November 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident off of Bay Farm Road near William Drive.  It was reported to be a single vehicle rollover.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional resources from the Sussex County Paramedics and local ambulance service organization were utilized.

Emergency response crew assignment included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, if needed, traffic control, and scene preservation.

It appears that a white Nissan sedan was traveling down Bay Farm Road and lost control for an unknown reason, running off the roadway and overturning.  There were five (5) persons that were evaluated and one (1) transported for additional observations.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
