On Wednesday, October 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company conducted its normal monthly training and attended the Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus to practice various fire ground operations and tactics.

Traditionally, the last Wednesday of every month is a scheduled training evening for fire company volunteers.  This evening the volunteers practiced various fire suppression techniques, hose handling, apparatus driver and operator functionalities.
