Nature: Pre-Arranged Stand-By Assignment - Roxana (90) Safety Awareness Activities

City: Roxana, Sussex County, Delaware

On Sunday afternoon, October 22nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a standby crew for the Roxana Fire Company to host their 2nd Annual Halloween Safety and Appreciation Event which included K-9 demonstration and activities; Life Net Aviation display; an Officer from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environment Control, Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Operations; and other attractions for children entertainment purposes.

Engine #80-3 with a crew of six (6) personnel provided response for any emergency situation that may have developed on the entertainment grounds or within their respective fire district.  Fortunately, there were no emergency situations that needed a response.
