On Wednesday, May 17, 2006, three new Indian River firefighters completed Basic Firefighting Skills. A graduation ceremony was held at a meeting of the Sussex County Fire Chiefs Association. The three graduates from Indian River Volunteer Fire Company are Michael Merchant, Steven Snell, and Anthony Tobias. On behalf of all the fire line officers and members, keep up the good work as you continue forward in our firefighting journey.
