On Sunday, May 28, 2006, at 10:50 a.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company alerted for a motor vehicle collision. Original reports advised three vehicles were involved. Upon arrival of First Assistant Chief Ryan Mock, another vehicle collision occurred as a result of the first collision. Rescue crews were responsible for securing the vehicles involved, containing the fluid leakage, and patient packaging. One occupant was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic flow patterns. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
