As the third week of September (Sept. 14 thru 16) rolls around and the the sun sets on another summer of excitement, Ocean City, Maryland and many other vicinities on the Delmarva Peninsula pay tribute to those who believe two wheels are better than four during Bikefest, a.k.a Ocean City Bike Week.

Riding isn’t merely a hobby, it’s a way of life for many and Bike Week on the Delmarva Peninsula celebrates the lifestyle each fall.  Coinciding simultaneously with the annual Delmarva Bike Week, which brings more than 150,000 bikers to the lower Eastern Shore. Ocean City Bike Week is designed to bring many of those bikers to the beach for a final summer blowout.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hereby wishes to express motorcycle safety and bike awareness tactics to ensure full awareness with the dangers of riding a motorcycle.
