Nature: Vehicle Fire

Location: Clubhouse - 32975 Peninsula Esplanade Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday, September 9^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire at the Clubhouse in the Peninsula off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be fully involved with exposures to other vehicles and trash dumpsters.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility, Tanker 80 and Chief 80-15 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response assignments included fire suppression, overhaul and clean up. 

Upon arrival of the Chief 80-15, it was identified that a Ford F150 Pick Up was fully involved with fire.  Efforts had been made to extract the vehicle from the area of exposures.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
