Story

Nature: Fire Police Officer Retirements

Location: Oak Orchard, Delaware

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to recognize the tenure and years of service accomplishments to two fire police officers that have recently retired from the active ranks.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Officers, and Members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, we hereby offer our utmost appreciation for their professional diligence and dedication to the ranks of the Delaware State Fire Police and extend our best wishes with their retirement announcements.

As you are aware, the job duties, tasks, and responsibilities of being a fire police officer are very cumbersome and not for the kind at heart.  Their expertise and wisdom has been greatly recognized during their tenure and we are extremely thankful to them.

The retirees include the following officers:

(1)      William A. Cassatt - http://www.irvfc.com/profile.cfm?id=25.  Joined the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in October 2000.

(2)     Clarence J. Becker - http://www.irvfc.com/profile.cfm?id=9  Joined the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in January 1999.

It is our best hopes that these gentlemen will continue amongst the ranks of the volunteer fire service and offer assistance where ever and whenever.

Congratulations on your announcement and we offer you thankfulness and appreciation!

Best wishes with your future endeavors and thank you for your service.
