Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

On Sunday evening, September 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident.  It was reported as a golf cart rollover involving two persons.  Additional resources from the Sussex County Paramedics, the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit (Trooper #2), and an additional ambulance were requested.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck area, Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included preparation for aviation, scene mitigation, etc.

It appears that a golf cart occupied by two person (s) were riding and lost control for no apparent clause and rolled over.  The additional resources from the aviation and paramedics were not needed and cancelled while enroute.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
