On Saturday, February 4, 2006, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted Millsboro Volunteer Fire Company (Station 83) on an educational burn of a 2 1/2 story farmhouse, chicken house, and a shed. We started at 8:20 a.m and were completed and returning by 10:20 a.m. We assisted with Engine 80-7. Our assignment was to cool two exposures with 2 hand lines. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to say thank you to the Millsboro Fire Company for the refreshments and a great morning of training.
