On Thursday afternoon, August 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leas at 26162 Holly Berry Drive in the Pot Nets Coveside development off of Long Neck Road. It was reported as an odor of propane within the residential structure. Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from our Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Emergency response crews evaluated the residential structured and isolated the concern to a potential leak in the propane line. The utility service provider was notified after the value was shut off. All responding units were cleared to return to their respective stations. |
