At 5:48 AM on Saturday, April 23, we were dispatched to Route 24, John J. Williams Highway, east of County Road 313, Gull Point Road, for an MVA with injury and possible entrapment. On arrival, we found a single car overturned in a cornfield with the driver partially ejected. We assisted with patient care and packaging so that she could be flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center by the Delaware State Police helicopter, Trooper 2. Thirty-three firefighters were in service for fifty-four minutes for this call.
