At 10:36 AM on January 25, 2005, we were dispatched to Bay Boulevard in Rehoboth Shores for a report of a car that went off the roadway into a pond. The car was reported sinking with the driver still in it. Upon arrival, we found a car that had spun off the roadway and slid partway into a water retention pond. We assisted the uninjured driver from the car. Twenty-five firefighters were in service for 43 minutes under the direction of Lieutenant Jason Faulkner.
