Nature: Vehicle Accident

Long Neck Rd and John J Wil Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday evening, June 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road near John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a single vehicle into a roadway signage.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility; Engines #80-1 and #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, traffic control, and overall incident mitigation.

It appears that a small pick up was traveling on Long Neck Road and lost control striking signage..

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
