RE:  Life Member – James A. “Jim” Cannon, Sr.

It is with sadness that the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company announces that Life Member James A. “Jim” Cannon, Sr. has passed away on April 10,2017.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to offer its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loved ones of Jim Cannon.  We wish to offer the Cannon Family our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Jim’s tenure with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company allowed him to serve as Vice President, President, Fire Police Officer as well as serving on my internal committees.  Jim’s dedication and diligence towards the volunteer fire services was extremely giving.  Jim was awarded a Life Membership in March, 1997.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 17th at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriot’s Way, Millsboro, Delaware.
