Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Friday afternoon, April 7^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Phillips Branch Road west of Holly Mount Road.  It was reported to be single vehicle.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, assist with patient stabilization, traffic control and overall scene mitigation.

It appears that the a black compact sedan was traveling on Phillips Branch Road and lost control for an undetermined reason striking numerous trees.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
