Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Wednesday, January 18th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road in the vicinity of Grotto Pizza. It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency response vehicle from Indian River include Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization and traffic control for the duration of the incident. It appears that a red Chevrolet Cobalt and another SUV type vehicle. Both vehicles were on Long Neck Road they collided.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware Police are investigating the collision.
