Nature: Woods Fire

Location: ITAO Harris Teeter 26433 Bay Farm Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, December 21st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a woods fire in the area of Harris Teeter near the River Breeze development.

Emergency response units form Indian River included Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Brush #80-00 from the Oak Orchard facility. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the incident as well.

Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression, incident mitigation tactics, and mop to saturate the area with water.
