Nature: Chicken -n- Dumpling Dinner – Guest Server

Location: Station #1 – Oak Orchard

On Saturday, October 22nd, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted its final Chicken -n- Dumpling Dinner event for the 2016 Season. These dinner events have been a tremendous source of revenue generation for the Ladies Auxiliary and the volunteer fire company. These events could not have been as successful without the generous support of the community and the fire company patrons.

During this final seasonal event, the Honorable Ruth Briggs-King, 37th District State Representative from the Delaware House of Representatives graciously volunteered her time to assist with the serving.

Ruth’s assistance was greatly welcomed as many of the firemen departed to assist neighboring fire companies with fire suppression activities in Georgetown or standby assignments in Millsboro.

The Ladies Auxiliary and the firemen of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to “thank” the patrons of these dinner and breakfast events for their continued support.
