Nature: Structure Fire

Address: 304 Lakeside Dr., Plantations East, Lewes, DE 19958

Early Thursday morning – September 29th, the Indian River (80), Milton (85), Georgetown (77), Slaughter Beach (89) and Bethany Beach (70) fire companies were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) with a working structure fire at 304 Lakeside Drive, Plantations East. It was reported to be a working structure fire.

Many units were already in-service at an earlier structure fire in Millsboro or providing stand-by cover up assignments to neighboring fire companies. These included Indian River, Milton, Georgetown, Rehoboth, and Lewes fire companies.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 with an original cover-up assignment for Rehoboth Beach. This assignment was upgraded to include a response to the incident location.
