Nature: Indian River Sells Residential Manufactured Home Retains Land As the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company continues to progress towards expansion of its Long Neck facility it announced the sale of the residential manufactured home off of the recently acquired parcels known as the Mills Property. This week the residential manufactured home settlement transpired and the successful bidder/buyer will be required to relocate the structure to another parcel. The demolition and sitework will commence within the immediate foreseeable future with respect to these relocation tasks. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company retains the ownership rights to the land thereby making front roadway frontage of approximately 404 feet. These land parcels were acquired to accommodate the fire company operations in preparation for future growth, including but not limited new facilities, parking areas, storm water management areas, etc. Tentatively, the fire company has an expansion project that may incorporate some or all parts of these parcel.
